JOHN DAVISON
GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR
John is a time-served apprentice having a career spanning almost 40 years within several industrial electrical, control and instrumentation sectors. He has been pivotal in the successful delivery of many EC&I EPC contracts, including the world’s first dockside LNG re-gasification vessel offloading facility. As a founding director of Technica, he has gained extensive leadership and management experience, transforming Technica into one of the most respected privately-owned engineering solutions providers in the UK.
RICHARD LAW
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Richard’s engineering career spans more than 25 years, and includes roles within operations, policy, project and programme management, as well as technical consultancy. He has held various leadership and management roles within the energy sector and has overseen large scale deployment of fiscal metering, analysis and telemetry assets in the UK natural gas sector. He has served as a director for two of the largest systems integrators within the sector, including in president / managing director positions. He is a Chartered Engineer within the IET.
MARC BAYNHAM
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR
Marc is a professional engineer with more than 15 years’ experience in a variety of settings throughout the UK. Specialising in the metering and analysis of natural gas, he has supported several large energy clients. For the last 11 years, Marc has been instrumental in the development of metering maintenance teams and the commercial delivery of support contracts to Centrica Storage and Gassco AS UK. He is a Technical Authority for metering, a lead auditor, experienced consultant and is officially accredited as an independent technical expert for gas metering by the Joint Office of Gas Transporters.
STEVE STOCKS
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Steve has extensive experience of process industries, with more than 25 years working in the oil, gas, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, from apprentice technician to senior consultant. Highly experienced within the operations and maintenance of measurement systems and in the delivery of measurement management contracts - having worked for several large global organisations within this arena - he is a member of the Energy Institute and an active participant in hydrocarbon management committees, taking a keen interest in fiscal, allocation and environmental measurement systems to ensure energy security and transition.
