Our consultant engineers are experts in the provision of specialist measurement advice, be that in relation to the operation or upgrade of existing equipment, application of measurement standards, writing of policies and procedures or the production of equipment specifications.
We have experience in acting as the owners’ engineer in support of measurement projects and have undertaken tasks such as writing or reviewing functional design specifications, production of project scoping documents, witnessing of Factory Acceptance Testing or commissioning activities.

The foundations of the business are based on the provision of measurement maintenance services. We are proud that our people support some of the largest and most respected energy companies within the UK. At any point in time, Technica Measurement personnel are overseeing the equipment required to fiscally measure more than 30 per cent of the natural gas imports into the UK.
We have the capability to fully manage our clients’ measurement and analytical systems under our service provision, with Technica Measurement supplying metering engineers, technicians and consultants to undertake all maintenance and quality assurance activities.
